Nikki wanted to have some alternative images for her wedding. Nikki really likes my 10.5 mm fisheye lens and asked for several images to be used through the day.
We had a great time at the wedding, it’s always great when you are treated as a guest at a wedding that you have been booked to photograph.
Sometimes it doesn’t feel like work at all!
the bluebells are out so we snuck into a Bluebell wood in Elsecar. Austin is way too much of dude not to include, this child does not cry! Note to self do not bring clucky fiance to the next shoot 
Why am I adding music related images to my wedding blog? Well I thought it would be good to add the odd post to show you what I’m up to when I’m not shooting weddings.
I’ve known Ben and Sharon the organisers of LMHR for a few years now, they’ve been plugging the anti racism message at a grass roots level for a long time. Its been great to have been involved if only at a press capacity.

We had a fantastic time at Sara and Dans wedding on Saturday. You can always judge the success of a wedding by the dance floor on the evening. Dan and Sara’s was packed! In fact it was so packed that me and Natalie decided to stay and party.
We have to say thanks to Sarah and Dan for the very thoughtful gift of a hamper. I will be eating cheese and pate for the next few weeks!
I have started to offer engagement shoots. Its often the case that either the bride or groom are nervous in front of a camera (or indeed me!). I find that an informal photo shoot prior to the weddng can calm nerves, people can also get used to my style of photography as I often use off camera flash equipment too.
I myself always struggle when having photos taken and Dan, as many males often are was unsure of the camera initially. By the end of the shoot Dan had loosened off and I think he secretly started to enjoy it.
The shoot went well, Sara is very confident in front of a camera which will make for great images come their wedding day.
